Stephanie ran 4:18:46 at the New Balance Boston Twilight Meet, placing third out of 22 athletes. This was a tune up for her upcoming steeplechase at Occidental College this weekend.
Four athletes placed in the top ten at the Fifth Third River Bank Run in Grand Rapids, Michigan, which serves as the 2012 USA 25k championship. Among the American competitors, Ryan Bak and Allie Kieffer led the way with their fifth place finishes and were followed by Wendy Thomas in eighth, Daniel Tapia in ninth, and Tyler McCandless in 13th.
Emmanuel Bor won the Gum Tree 10k in Tupelo, Mississippi. He crossed the line in 30:20, just one second ahead of the second place finisher. Julius Bor was fifth in 30:36.
