Danette Doetzel, 23,  capped off her collegiate career at Providence College as the 2009 NCAA 10k Champion, after finishing second in 2008. She graduated with six All-America Honors and four Northeast Regional Cross Country/Track Athletes of the Year awards. She holds personal bests of 33:2 and 15:46 for the 10k and 5k respectively.

Growing up in Canada, Danette was a  15-time Saskatchewan High School Provincial Cross Country and Track Champion, 3-Time World Junior Cross Country Member, and 3-Time Canadian National Junior Track and Field Champion.

A Canadian native, Danette plans to live and train in the United States where she continues to be coached by Ray Treacy of Providence College.
