Jeffrey Eggleston, 24, has been training professionally since graduating from the University of Virginia in 2007.  In the past two years he has set personal bests in the 8K, 10K, 20K and the Half Marathon distances,  including a 15th place finish at the 2009 USA Half Marathon Championships, running a 1:03:58.  He was also 10th and 15th, respectively, at the 2007 and 2008 USA 20k Championships.   In the shorter distances, he was 3rd place at 2008 AMHP Invitational 10,000m, running 29:36.5, 3rd at the 2008 Shamrock Shuffle 8k in 23:54, and he was 1st at the 2009 Johnny’s Running of the Green 5 Mile Run in a winning time of 23:58.

Jeffrey placed third overall at the BAA Half Marathon with a time of 1:04:16 and tenth overall at the Applied Materials Silicon Valley Turkey Trot in San Jose, CA. These races were in preparation for his marathon debut at the Phoenix Rock ‘N’ Roll Marathon, where he ran a stunning 2:14:32 in his first attempt at the distance.

A native of Greece, NY, Jeffrey now lives in Flagstaff, AZ and is coached by Jack Daniels.
