Sammy has a marathon PR of 2:11:05, which he ran at the Dusseldorf Marathon in 2007. He has also run a 2:12:10 at the 2008 Rome Marathon and a 1:03:18 at the Kyoto Half Marathon. Most recently, he finished second at the Breast Cancer National Marathon, with a time of 2:16:52.
