Jeffrey Eggleston ran a 23 second PR to finish second in 2:14:09 at the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon, which serves as the USA Marathon Championships. On March 21st, three Empire Athletics athletes - Shadrack Biwott, Sally Meyerhoff, and Trent Briney - all competed in the new spring edition of the NYC Half Marathon. Shadrack continued his dominance on the roads with 1:01:52, good for fifth place overall. On Sunday, December 6, Empire Athletics athletes scored a victory and runner-up finish at the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon and Rock 'N' Roll Las Vegas Marathon, respectively. Albina Mayorova-Ivanov was the Singapore Champion by two minutes with a time of 2.32.49, while Alevtina Ivanova placed second in Las Vegas in 2:30:05 after being passed in the final stretch by Caroline Rotich of Kenya.
