Jacques Sallberg
Jacques Sallberg is a seasoned track specialist, having run in the USATF Championships five times since 2000. He has been ranked as high as 4th in the 3,000 meter Steeplechase by Track and Field News when he set his personal best of 8:28 in 2006. Other records on the track include 13:52 (5k), 7:57 (3k) and 3:41 (1500). Most recently, he has been a prolific road and cross country racer, having been a member of Team USA at the 2011 NACAC Cross Country Championships. He also ran 2:21:29 at the 2010 California International Marathon and 1:05:23 at the 2011 Tijuana Half Marathon. Jacques is a 1998 graduate of the University of Los Angeles and lives in Pasadena, California. He is coached by Bob Larsen and occasionally trains at altitude with the Mammoth Track Club.
